LJP 2005 Employee Volunteer Event

Each year LJP sponsors a one-day event for our employees to give back to the community. In prior years, we have assisted in the building of Habitat for Humanity houses. This year on June 28, 2005, we will help renovate the playground of St. David's Child Development & Family Services in Plymouth, Minnesota. St. David's is a non-sectarian agency providing services to over 2000 children, young adults, and families through offices in Minnetonka, Crystal, and Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Programming includes early childhood education, rehabilitative therapy and services for children and young adults with special needs, services aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect, and mental health services. Since 1961, St. David's has been "building stronger families and communities through innovative programs that change people's lives."
