Leffert Jay & Polglaze, P.A. Assist in Local Community Project

It was a hot steamy day in late June with the heat index hovering over 100 degrees! However, LJP employees were up to the challenge of helping the kids at St. David’s Child Development & Family Services Home in Minnetonka, Minnesota. A dozen staff members spent the day spreading mulch on the nearly quarter acre of renovated playground at St. David’s. The entire project spanned several months with LJP completing this final task. Ms. Kristin Hays, Executive Director of St. David’s, said,

“Spreading the mulch was a huge job, especially in the humid conditions you experienced! All of you worked so hard to get the bulk of the mulch spreading finished. Thanks to you, we were able to open the playground on schedule. We are excited to have a safe, accessible, exciting, and education play space for children of all abilities. Your efforts truly do help St. David’s to fulfill its mission of “Changing peoples lives…”
