Leffert Jay & Polglaze Win Jury Trial

LJP litigators Jonathan Jay and Terry Newby were successful in a recent jury trial victory in Hennepin County District Court. In this case LJP represented a large company in a commercial litigation dispute arising from a construction accident at a local college. After just a few hours of deliberation, the seven person jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of LJP's client. "Our client was very pleased with the result," said Jon Jay. "This is a case that we should have won, and we are glad the jury saw things our way." LJP's litigation group works exclusively on litigation and trials, primarily in the intellectual property area, but also in other commercial areas, including insurance-related disputes.
